Yael Stone

Stone was born in Sydney and raised there. She went to the Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NIDA) as well as the National Institute of Dramatic Art. Stone began acting when she was just a child. She was in the roles of Me Myself and The Farm. She primarily focused on theatre. She was named the award for Best Newcomer at Sydney Theatre Awards 2008 and Best Supporting actress for The Kid. She also appeared in supporting parts on All Saints, Spirited and other shows. She also starred in The Diary of a Madman. It earned her a second nomination for the Sydney Theatre Awards as Best Supporting Actress. In February of 2011, she travelled to New York to perform in the Brooklyn Academy of Music's production The Diary of a Madman prior to returning for leading roles in A Golem Story, Summer of the Seventeenth Doll, and As You Like It in Sydney.
